Nominations close Sunday October 31

Do you know an outstanding coach deserving of recognition?

If so, there is still time to put them in the running for this year’s Wally Foreman Coach of the Year award – nominations close this Sunday October 31.

The accolade is designed to place the spotlight on coaches in the South West community who have attained a level of excellence that sets them apart from their peers.

Key factors considered in judging include the commitment shown, performance and achievement attained, and the level of competition being supported by the coach.

The prestigious award is named after the late Wally Foreman, a sports administrator and commentator who was asked by Bunbury business identity Rolf Stene to carry out the feasibility planning for the South West Academy of Sport.

Nomination forms can be downloaded here –  SWAS Annual Awards 2022 Nomination Form or requested by emailing . Submissions close Sunday October 31.
