Help to take down Demons

A number of South West Academy of Sport netball players slipped into their ECU Souwest Jets uniforms on the weekend to help the region’s representative side end its campaign in the 2018 West Australian Netball League with a win.

In front of a home crowd, the Jets showed their dominance when they defeated the South East Demons at Eaton on Saturday August 25.

Though not able to progress to the finals because of earlier losses, the team stamped their authority during the match to deliver 71 goals to the 39 produced by the Demons.

SWAS netball players were among the most outstanding on-court talent on the night, with Ella Taylor named most valuable player and Giselle Taylor putting in an outstanding performance.

Netball is one of three partner sports offered by SWAS along with Australian Rules football and hockey.
