Finds AFL home at Sydney

Against the odds, South West Academy of Sport product Durak Tucker has realised his AFL dream.

The Australind teenager was drafted by the Sydney Swans on Friday November 23 after overcoming the hurdle of being injured and not being able to play for the majority of the season.

With the help of SWAS, Tucker was able to spend many months going through the rehabilitation process from his base in the South West.

Tucker follows in the footsteps of a growing number of SWAS alumni-turned AFL footballers including Connor Blakely and Scott Jones.
