The achievements of the South West Academy of Sport’s inaugural basketball players were celebrated at a graduation ceremony in Bunbury on Friday September 4.

The event gave the 28 court talents the chance to reflect on their time in the high performance program, with highlights including selection to represent the State at the Australian Junior Basketball Championships.

The graduation was held at Bunbury’s Quality Hotel Lord Forrest and attended by athletes and their families, coaches and supporters.

Trials for the next season’s program were held on Monday September 7.
